What We Do

With farming coursing through his veins and a passion for pork unlike any other, Complete Crete’s owner, Jared Thorne, founded Belle Vallée Farm arose in Athens, Wisconsin.

There were a couple key elements that we wanted to see done differently in the pork industry. These elements set Belle Vallée apart.

  1. We wanted pork raised 100% organically with grains grown 100% organically right at our farm. We wanted to be conscientious of the environment so that those who purchased our product would know our land and our animals have been taken care of in an honoring way. 

  2. We wanted to make a reasonably priced organic product. As I’m sure you know choosing organic can be quite costly but we have worked hard to uphold all of the organic standards and kept our products at a fair and affordable price.

Organic Certification is anticipated to be finalized in the near future but in the meantime we are upholding all of the organic standards.

Organic fed pork from local grown organic feed.  We are currently starting the process to certify our pork but in the meantime are upholding all of the organic standards while raising our pigs.

Is your pork certified organic?

At this time we have not been officially certified. We are in full compliance with the organic certification standards and plan to complete the certification in the near future.

At Belle Vallée we never use GMO’s, pesticides, chemicals, or hormones.

The Farm

Located in Athens our free-range farm yard has anywhere between 60-120 pigs running around on the pasture.

Visit our family’s market stand, Pleasant Meadows, featuring Belle Vallée Farm pork and a variety of products, including honey, eggs, beef, and chicken.
